Keep calm and carry on

This is not a quite recent trendy object in home decor, but has the modern style of the 40's that we all love. This poster is a replica of a WWII British encouraging people to keep calm during war time and bombings.

The poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has been re-issued by a number of private sector companies, and used as the decorative theme for a range of other products.

Peter Zumthor

I read a single sentence in an architecture magazine that caught me so easily about this Swiss architect. Before he win the Pritzker prize last year he said: "i don't work for the army" and I inmediately made an image of what kind of architect he could be. I believe I wasn't wrong but definitely his architecture says much more than his biography.

Minimal Melody

Today suddenly just feel in the mood for "The xx". simple, minimal, and deep. After a year and a Mercury Prize, i hear this song again, and makes me feel just like the first time.

AGA...so in love!

I  like baking all kind of sweet biscuits, the trouble comes when I have to cook dinner every single day for one and a half people. But if I have to cook in an Aga cooker, realy, I don't mind, this is my dreamed cooker. Take a look and fall in love.
